Elona Telha is an experienced lawyer with extensive know-how developed while working in the financial services and energy sectors where she held various management positions.
Elona joined the Group as Head of Contract Management Team at Abkons within the framework of the Tap gas pipeline project in Albania.
She holds the position of AFI Administrator since October 2018 in charge of managing the company’s business in accordance with the policies defined by the Board of Directors. Elona was promoted to this position after spending two years as chief Legal Counsel of AFI where she provided legal advice on a number of matters, including litigation, and acted as the company’s legal representative.
Elona joined the Group following a number of years of experience with CEZ Albania (now OSHEE, the Albanian Electricity Distribution System Operator) where she head of legal responsible for overseeing and managing the legal affairs of the company. Prior to that she was Chief Legal Officer at Societe Generale Albania (now OTP) where she governed the institution’s legal department, providing legal advice and guidance and leading a team of lawyers and legal support staff.
Elona holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Tirana and is a licensed attorney at law, admitted to National Bar Association in March 2004.
